MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- On Wednesday afternoon in front of a packed gymnasium, Middleburg High School senior basketball player Malcolm Bernard signed a letter of intent to attend Charleston Southern University.

Bernard is the first Broncos boys basketball player to earn a Division I scholarship in nearly 15 years.
