DPL Communications Joins Clay County Chamber of Commerce

Diane Provasi Lewis, ABC of DPL Communications has joined the Clay County Chamber of Commerce as an entrepeneur specializing in  public relations and marketing.  Diane has owned and operated her home-based business since 1987. A graduate of Orange Park High School (1983), Florida Junior College - Kent Campus (1985) and the University of Florida - Gainesville (1987), Diane is perhaps most proud of her college internship with Susan First of First Place Marketing in Gainesville.
"I wish Susan could see me now," Diane says. "She taught me how to do what I do -- and to do it with grace, dignity and professionalism. Susan was a beautiful Jewish woman,  married to a successful CPA, raising beautiful children -- and virtually running her home-based business with a flair that has shaped me to this day."
Diane, earned her Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) designation in 1995 from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). She is a past president and board member of IABC and speaks Turkish fluently.
DPL Communications has worked with businesses in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, and Minnesota. She has experience working within a variety of industries such as Food & Beverage, Travel & Tourism, Telecommunications, Real Estate, Religion and Spirituality, Education, Music & Symphony, Hospice and Home Health Care, Cosmetology, Military and Government Contracts, Church and Charitable Organizations, and many others. Her specialty is in public relations, marketing, advertising, fundraising, development as well as  local, regional, national and international media relations.
Diane grew up traveling with her parents and brother. Her father, Donald Raymond Provasi is a retired United States Army officer and Educator. Her late mother, Nuran Gulacar Provasi Bult, was born and raised in Izmir, Turkey. Nuran was an entrepeneur and owned and operated businesses including Mike's Pizza & Italian Restaurant and Nuran's Boutique.  Diane's family is based in Northeast Florida, Vermont, Istanbul and Izmir Turkey. Diane has a 12-year old son and enjoys a variety of sports, mentoring students, creative writing and publishing, swimming, biking and Zumba fitness.
Current clients include: Hair by Lee & Friends, Locks of Love / Kutting for Kids, Pasta Market & Clam Bar, Take Stock in Children at Orange Park High School -- all in Clay County and Prestige Wine Group / Johnson Brothers Liquors in Minnesota. She is also a mentor in  the University of North Florida Public Relations Internship Program.
